Privacy Policy

OpsDesk ("OpsDesk," "we," "us") provides an operations platform for shift-driven retail and service businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to getopsdesk.com and the OpsDesk product.
1. Information we collect
- Account info: name, email, password hash, role, workspace membership.
- Operational data you enter: locations, team members, shifts, issues, supplies, follow-ups, handoff notes, equipment, playbooks, photos, and other content uploaded by your workspace.
- Usage and analytics: pages viewed, actions taken, device and browser, approximate location from IP, error logs.
- Support communications: messages you send to support@getopsdesk.com or hello@getopsdesk.com.
2. How we use information
- Operate, maintain, and improve OpsDesk.
- Authenticate users and protect against fraud or abuse.
- Send operational emails (password resets, invitations, shift handoffs, supply alerts, billing notices).
- Provide customer support.
- Generate aggregated, de-identified analytics to improve the product.
3. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with:
- Service providers (hosting, database, email delivery, analytics) under contract.
- Other members of your workspace, according to their role.
- Authorities when legally required.
- An acquirer in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with notice).
4. Third-party integrations
You may connect OpsDesk to external tools (calendar, payroll, communication). Data sent to those tools is governed by their privacy policies.
5. Data security
We use encryption in transit, encrypted storage, role-based access controls, and continuous monitoring. No system is perfectly secure; report suspected vulnerabilities to support@getopsdesk.com.
6. Data retention
We retain workspace data for as long as your account is active. After account closure, operational data is deleted within 30 days unless retention is legally required.
7. Your choices
- Access, correct, or export your data from workspace settings.
- Delete your account by emailing support@getopsdesk.com.
- Opt out of non-essential emails using the unsubscribe link.
8. Children
OpsDesk is not directed to children under 16.
9. International users
OpsDesk is operated from the United States. By using OpsDesk you consent to processing in the U.S.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be announced in-product or by email.
